Installation Maxis Fibre
YOU SHOULD TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING BEFORE THE MAXIS FIBRE INSTALLATION:
- Maxis will schedule an appointment for the installation after the registration is done.
- A technical team will go to your premise at the agreed time and date to carry out the installation.
- You are required to provide 3 power outlet (either power point or multiple gang extension) at your preferred location to place the Residential Gateway, Optical Network Terminal and Dect Phone.
- The assigned installation team will call you at least 24 hours before the appointment date for confirmation. You will be informed not more than 3 hours prior to the agreed appointment should it need to be re-scheduled due to unforeseen circumstances.
- You should inform Maxis at least 3 days in advance in case of cancellation or installation appointment re-scheduling. Maxis reserves the right to charge for the late cancellation or re-scheduling request.
- You will be provided with 15 metres of fibre optic cable free of charge. The cost of any additional length will be paid by you.
- Any request from you that is classified as non-standard installation will have to be discussed with teh installer and agreed upon on the charges.
- A small opening through the wall may be required for the fibre optic cable to enter your premise. The hole will be cleaned and concealed for aesthetic purpose.
